Cranial Facial Release

Course Description

A unique and powerful cranial adjusting procedure that specifically addresses the primary subluxation which resides “above the neck”, in the brain, at the origin of the impulse, where 80% of the nervous system resides – before moving further down the chain focusing on the second half of the equation – the 20% below the neck and how that nerve impulse is transmitted.

Learning Objectives

  1. Explain the principles of Cranial Facial Release (CFR), including its history, defining characteristics, and how it differs from other endonasal techniques.
  2. Identify key cranial anatomical structures and physiological relationships, including the role of dural meningeal tension and its impact on nervous system function.
  3. Recognize appropriate clinical applications of CFR, including indications, contraindications, precautions, and expected physiological effects.
  4. Demonstrate proper CFR analysis techniques, including visual assessment, cranial palpation, identification of treatment zones, and determination of appropriate inflation patterns.
  5. Apply foundational CFR treatment procedures, including correct instrumentation setup, angles of insertion, inflation protocols, and management of potential complications.
