Course Description

This course features demonstrations and interactive practices of the basic assessment and adjustment procedures when utilizing an adjusting instrument, tests for instrument analysis, and best practices of instrument adjustment. Through instruction on the reliability of leg length analyses, pressure tests, stress tests, and isolation test to identify pelvic deficiencies, this course equips doctors to perform the fundamental evaluations for common patient problems, and trains them on the fundamental techniques of instrument adjusting.  

Learning Objectives

  1. Proficiently perform a thorough evaluation of patient needs through leg length analysis
  2. Understand instrument adjusting utilizing line of drive, directional adjustment, and identification of neuroarticular dysfunction
  3. Utilize pressure tests, stress tests, and isolation tests to identify subluxations and misalignments
  4. Perform basic instrument adjustments to the medial and lateral knee
  5. Perform basic instrument adjustments to the ilium, iliac crest, and cuboid
  6. Perform basic instrument adjustments to the lumbar, upper thoracic, and lower thoracic
  7. Perform basic instrument adjustments to the medial and lateral scapula, the cervical vertebrae, and the occiput
