Course Description 

In this stand-alone session Dr Kleber will review the anatomy and physiology of the urinary tract. He will discuss the clinical implications of abnormal function of the urinary tract including the kidney and its various anatomical components, the urinary bladder and the urethra. Emphasis will be placed on mechanisms of detoxification, hormones enzymes and pathways. 

Learning Objectives 

• Learn the fundamentals of kidney detoxification 

• Recognize patients with compromised detoxification and pathologies 

• Educate the doctors on appropriate treatment and referrals
