Dr. Garcia was born in Florida and raised in Connecticut. His first career was in Information Technology for an insurance company in Hartford. One day while working, he sustained an injury that started a journey that resulted in a career change to healthcare.
Because of a physician that helped Dr. Garcia become pain-free again, he started studying neuroscience out of sheer fascination. He started applying neuroscience to the athletic population. Leveraging the power of neuroplasticity, using vestibular rehabilitation, sports vision training, and movement therapies, he was often able to help athletes become more powerful, stronger or get out of pain within the hour where they would have otherwise taken weeks.
Dr. Garcia’s has a drive for excellence, he continued to further his studies. He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic as well as earning an MS in Human Nutrition.
He continued his studies with the Carrick Institute, a postgraduate institute for clinical neuroscience. Dr. Garcia holds a Diplomate from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and a Fellowship from the American College of Functional Neurology. He opened a practice outside of Boston, MA. The practice quickly grew and gained attention for its work with the women’s Olympic hockey team for concussion recovery and performance enhancement.
While having much success in private practice, Dr. Garcia decided he wanted to make an even larger impact on society. He opted to relocate to Florida where you can now find Dr. Garcia contributing to improving the landscape of worldwide clinical neuroscience education with new curriculum development and as an adjunct clinician a Plasticity Brain Centers, working with complex neurological conditions.
