Coordination of Nutritional Recommendations Utilizing Blood Chemistry and Genetic Testing

This two-hour program will cover the basics in genetic testing and how to determine what the patient needs to prevent the disease process based on their genetic predisposition.  Evaluating blood work can help support those recommendations and will help determine where the patient is in relationship to being preventative or reactive depending on where they are on their path of health. Being able to coordinate care between the testing can increase success rates in treatment and prevention.  Genetic markers can also help dictate the type of exercise and diet patterns that will be most beneficial for your patients. Ever have the one who “eats right and exercises all the time” and can’t lose weight?  This is an example of how genetic testing can alter their path and your treatment protocol.   Case studies demonstrating this work in clinical practice will be shared.
