Cotney, D.C., is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa.  He has worked his private chiropractic practice located in Thomaston, GA, since 1983.  Dr. Cotney is also very involved in Professional and Community Organizations.  It is his desire for the citizens of him community to desire and understand chiropractic care.

    This course will cover recent changes in Georgia Board of Examiners Rules and Georgia scope of practice laws. The most common disciplines that occur within the state will be discussed and best  practices to avoid board action against your license. This class is a mandatory one-hour review of Georgia Chiropractic Laws and Rules for all DC’s practicing in the State of Georgia.

    Learning Objectives

    1. To familiarize Doctors of Chiropractic practicing in Georgia with current changes or updates in Board of Examiner rules and any recent changes in the Georgia Scope of Practice Laws.
    2. Frequent disciplinary actions taken by the board will be discussed and ways to avoid sanctions against your license will be covered.
