During this course, the participants will have the opportunity to actively participate in data collections that will aim to further their understanding of physiological changes that occur with force-based manipulations (i.e., chiropractic, massage, mobilization, vertebral axial decompression, etc.). After informed consent and body instrumentation, the participant will have baseline metrics of the body assessed. The participant will then be provided with an opportunity to receive an intervention and then have a secondary data collection with the same instrumentation to assess the immediate effect metrics of the intervention. This hands-on experience of observing research data collections will provide the participant with the ability to understand the importance of objective data for progression of the profession and be able to articulate their experience with their patients when they return to the office.
