Objectives:

●Understand the anatomical structures of the head, neck, jaw, and mouth and their relevance in diagnosing and managing oral-facial pain and TMD.

●Develop clinical skills in history-taking, physical examination, and palpation techniques for assessing patients with TMD, including hands-on practice with common diagnostic protocols.

●Apply evidence-based rehabilitation protocols and conservative treatment strategies for managing the five most common TMD diagnoses, incorporating case studies and practical sessions into clinical practice.

Description:   This course provides an in-depth exploration of the anatomy, diagnosis, and treatment of oral-facial pain and TMD. The program covers the anatomy of the head, neck, jaw, and mouth, hands-on palpation techniques, history-taking, physical examination skills, and rehabilitation protocols for the five most common TMD diagnoses referred by dental professionals.
