    Dr. Oswald is a practicing chiropractic physician in New Hampshire and is a Medical Educator at Emerson Ecologics. Prior to practicing in New Hampshire, Dr. Oswald started a private practice in Minnesota utilizing a functional medicine approach to musculoskeletal health, adrenal health, GI health, weight loss, and optimizing sports performance. Along the way Dr. Oswald has learned how to effectively address many underlying health concerns with a combination of chiropractic care, lifestyle changes, and specific nutritional protocols. The goal of this lecture is for each attendee to leave with a true understanding in ergonomic positioning and to facilitate patient stretching. This course is not only to help you increase patient outcomes, but to understand the proper office set up and communicate knowledge in Stretching and Positioning to each patient. Don’t forget how valuable you are in supporting, educating, providing the right materials while helping the DC pre or post adjustment, as well as ensuring that the patient is doing the right home care routines that help them hold their adjustments longer and live better lives.     What Really Happens with Chronic Stress

    Chronic stress is a widespread problem that everyone has to deal with on some level.  Whether it is fatigue, GI issues, or an inability to lose weight, they may all be related to an underlying adrenal health problem.  Dr. Oswald will discuss the vast scope of this problem and why our ability to deal with stress has been challenged in today’s society.  Chronic stress can have a large negative impact on our physiologic function and Dr. Oswald will discuss how to recognize the problem, assess your patients, and provide treatment that will have a profound impact on the health of your patients.
