Dr. Byron Campbell, PT, DPT, ATC, LAT, CSCS, ADN-Cert, is a Senior Organizational Physical Therapist with the Baltimore Orioles, now in his third season overseeing rehabilitation and performance strategies across both Major and Minor League players. As a trusted resource for both injured and healthy athletes, he leads the organization’s rehabilitation and injury prevention programs, with a specialized focus on performance optimization and recovery.
In addition to his role with the Orioles, Dr. Campbell serves as a clinical instructor for DPT and ATC students and contributes to the Professional Baseball Physical Therapy Society (PBPTS) as a member of the MLB social media committee. He is also launching his own sports performance and rehab center—Campbell Performance Institute—in Sarasota, FL, while serving as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
With a passion for biomechanics, functional movement, and post-surgical rehab, Dr. Campbell has consulted across all levels of sport. His clientele includes athletes from the NFL, NBA, NHL, and MLB—backed by his unique perspective as a former Division I and professional athlete himself.
