Carina Toledo is a board-certified Clinical Nutritionist and Master Herbalist with over 25 years of experience working in the Natural Products Industry in a variety of roles, from sales, education, and as a clinician. She earned her Master’s of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Sonoran University, a Master’s of Healthcare Innovation from Arizona State University, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Botanical Medicine. In clinical practice, Carina takes a patient-centered approach, using a functional lens to integrate evidence-based interventions that are personalized to the individual. Beyond her private practice, Carina is deeply fulfilled by her collaboration with other healthcare practitioners, providing support and education to help them integrate and expand their application of botanical medicine in practice. Carina currently serves as the North American Liaison and Practitioner Educator for MediHerb® of Australia, distributed through Standard Process. She is a passionate public speaker, educator, and advocate for phytotherapy and also serves on the Patient and Family Advisory Council of her local hospital, Tahoe Forest, where she is diligently working towards her dream of bridging the gap between integrative medicine and primary care.
