Dr. Kurt Olding, D.C., is a respected chiropractor, educator, and author with more than 41 years of clinical experience and nearly 16 years dedicated to teaching Cox® Technic. A 1984 graduate of the National College of Chiropractic, he founded Minster Chiropractic Center in 1985, where he continues to provide patient-centered care to individuals of all ages.
Dr. Olding earned his Cox® Technic certification in 2009 and began co-instructing the technique in 2012. Since 2015, he has served as a full-time instructor, teaching nationally and internationally and helping to train chiropractors in this evidence-informed, spine-focused approach. Following the passing of Dr. James Cox, Dr. Olding has taken on a key leadership role in continuing the legacy of the technique’s emphasis on collecting, sharing, and integrating the latest spine research into its instruction and practice by serving as the ongoing editor of the Cox® Research Pearls and Podcast, curating and translating current spine research into practical clinical insights for practitioners around the world.
In addition to his teaching, Dr. Olding is a published author, co-authoring research in the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine on spinal manipulation for post-surgical low back and radicular pain patients as well as other articles on spinal stenosis, balance, and cervical radiculopathy. His commitment to advancing the profession is further demonstrated through his board certification as a Chiropractic Orthopedist and his role as a past board member of the International Academy of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine. Dr. Olding was a key member developing the on-line Diplomate exam for the Academy. He also earned his Primary Spine Practitioner certification in 2021 from the University of Pittsburgh, enhancing his expertise in the comprehensive management of spine-related disorders.
A lifelong resident of Minster, Dr. Olding continues to balance his roles as clinician, educator, and leader, contributing to the ongoing growth and impact of Cox® Technic worldwide.
