Dr. Ralph Kruse, DC, DIANM, is a distinguished chiropractor, educator, and researcher with decades of experience in clinical practice and academic leadership. He completed his pre-medical studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook before earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National College of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences) in 1990. He went on to achieve diplomate status with the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics and the American Board of Chiropractic Consultants and is a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
Dr. Kruse practiced in the Chicago area, including Homewood, for 28 years, where he focused extensively on treating patients with cervical and lumbar disc pathology. His clinical expertise centers on flexion-distraction decompression manipulation, particularly for chronic and post-surgical spine conditions.
A longtime contributor to chiropractic research, Dr. Kruse has been involved in multiple landmark studies since 1993, including biomechanical and clinical investigations of Cox® Technic. He has published numerous papers demonstrating its effectiveness for conditions such as disc herniation, stenosis, radiculopathy, and pregnancy-related back pain.
Dr. Kruse is also a dedicated Cox® Technic instructor, lecturing throughout the United States and internationally. He currently serves as a full-time faculty member at Keiser University College of Chiropractic Medicine, where he continues to educate the next generation of chiropractic physicians.
