Dr. Danny Porcelli is a Chiropractic Physician who specializes in sports medicine, soft tissue injury and rehabilitation. He is certified in Active Release Therapy and Graston Technique which are 2 of the most recognized soft tissue treatments in sports medicine. He has treated Olympic and Para-Olympic Athletes at the 2010 Central American Games and was a treating physician at the 2013 CrossFit Games and South East Regionals. He also holds Kelly Starrett’s Mobility WOD certification, has his Level 1 CrossFit certificate and Grey Cook’s FMS certification.
Dr. Danny received his doctorate in Chiropractic medicine and his B.S. in Health and Wellness from Parker College of Chiropractic as well as a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida. He founded XOC Chiropractic Sports Clinic in Naples Florida where he treats a large portion of the local CrossFit community, as well as a wide range of athletes and people who value an active lifestyle. He combines joint mobilization, soft tissue treatments, corrective exercises and Rock Tape to obtain fast, effective and lasting results with his patients.
He believes high quality continual movement is an integral part of a holistic wellness lifestyle. Dr. Danny considers himself a movement fanatic. He is an avid crossfitter, paddle boarder, yogi, mountain biker and more. He finds it easy to relate to his patients because he has participated in nearly all forms of exercise and sport.
Dr. Danny’s commitment to his patients, his profession and his health are continually reinforced by his low back x-ray that hangs on his treatment room window. He fractured his L5 vertebrae on a water slide in 2006 and he uses this as a constant reminder along with a hand written message to his patients that says, “You are not alone”.
