Evaluating, Treating, Rehabilitating, and Optimizing Breath and Diaphragm Function

Course Description

This presentation will dive into the vital role that the diaphragm plays in one’s overall health. From posture to breathing to spinal mechanics, the diaphragm is perhaps the most important and overlooked muscle in the body. Various methods to evaluate the diaphragm and breathing will be demonstrated. New techniques to treat, rehabilitate, and optimize diaphragm dysfunctions will be addressed.

Learning Objectives:

  1. How to evaluate and treat the diaphragm both mechanically and via breathwork.
  2. The link between the respiratory diaphragm and pelvic diaphragm as it relates to movement, and body mechanics
  3. Breathwork skills and techniques that make immediate and lasting changes to biochemistry and biomechanics.
