Best Practices Certification: Cannabinoids and Chiropractors – Part 1

The Cannabinoid Certification for Chiropractors is certification program that aims to provide chiropractic physicians with a comprehensive understanding of the potential benefits, risks, and responsible usage of cannabinoids including CBD (cannabidiol) in their practice. With the exploding popularity of cannabinoids in the US (including both medical and adult-use markets), there is a distinct educational gap between chiropractors and cannabinoid therapeutics. CBD and the related hemp-derived alternate cannabinoids fall within the scope of chiropractors but there are limited educational resources available for best practices. This program not only establishes much-needed best practices for ethical application of cannabinoid therapeutics, but it also provides clarification of the legal and ethical gray areas associated cannabinoid therapeutics.
