Course Description
This presentation provides an evidence-based update on the modern assessment and conservative management of tendinopathy, emphasizing contemporary tendon pathology models, progressive loading strategies, pain science principles, and the integration of high-intensity laser therapy (photobiomodulation) into rehabilitation.
Participants will explore current theories of tendinopathy development, including mechanical overload, failed healing responses, and reactive versus degenerative tendon changes. The session also examines the role of mechanotransduction and progressive tendon loading in restoring tissue capacity and improving long-term clinical outcomes.
In addition, attendees will review the physiological mechanisms, dosing considerations, and current evidence supporting high-intensity laser therapy as an adjunctive intervention for pain modulation and rehabilitation progression in tendinopathy management.
