    Robert Jackson DC

    Dr. Jackson has been teaching and inspiring Chiropractors worldwide for the last four decades. He has been in private practice in the same location since July 1983, at the Applewood Chiropractic Health Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He is one of the founders of Back Talk Systems Inc., a world-leading company specializing in marketing and communication tools, currently offered in eight different languages, for the practice of Chiropractic from the patient’s point of view. He is also the controlling partner of the Applewood Pain Management LLC, which specializes in regenerative medicine and customized pain management techniques. He was certified by Dr. J. Clay Thompson in 1981 and was allowed to work extensively with Dr. Clay both nationally and internationally until his passing in 1996, teaching and certifying doctors in the Thompson Technique around the world.

    Objectives:

    • Learn how the operation of a multidisciplinary practice can be very fulfilling for the patient as well as the practice owner
    • Inform the practitioners so that they not only maintain a high level of ethical standards but also remain in compliance with state and federal laws

    Description:   This two-hour session will be a panel discussion where attendees will be to learn the ethical considerations of owning, working for, and/or operating a multidisciplinary practice. With the increasing popularity of this style of practice incorporating chiropractic, medical, physical therapy, and other disciplines under one roof, it is critical for practitioners to understand the legal and ethical considerations that come into play.

    • Evaluate neurological findings associated with leg check procedures and distinguish between anatomical short legs and contracted legs, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and clinical decision-making.
    • Apply advanced Thompson-Derifield analysis, including patient placement and evaluation of Cervical and Bilateral Cervical Syndrome findings, to effectively perform precise adjusting procedures while identifying contraindications and necessary modifications based on patient-specific presentations.

    Description:   Dr. Jackson will present basic through advanced Thompson Technique adjusting procedures that have been added or modified based on the Thompson Technique Foundation board. He will also instruct on how to designate those conditions that may present contraindications to chiropractic care or specific modifications to adjusting in specific areas based on the presentation of findings.
