Course Description
This is a case-based lecture pulling from cases read for chiropractors across the nation. We will review a wide range of pathology from sports injury, arthritis, infection and neoplasm all of which have come through practicing Chiropractors doors. Proper utilization of imaging will be covered, and this will remind the practicing doctor that arthritis is not the only pathology that could come through their door!
Learning Objectives
- Identify and differentiate common and uncommon pathologies encountered in chiropractic practice, including sports injuries, degenerative conditions, infections, and neoplastic processes.
- Apply clinical reasoning to case-based scenarios in order to recognize red flags and determine when advanced diagnostic evaluation or referral is warranted.
- Demonstrate appropriate utilization of diagnostic imaging to support accurate assessment, improve differential diagnosis, and guide patient management decisions.
