Course Description
Chiropractors routinely manage patients whose pain, healing timelines, and care compliance are influenced by stress, anxiety, and other psychosocial factors. This course provides a clear, ethical, and scope-appropriate framework for recognizing when mental health factors are affecting chiropractic outcomes and how to respond without diagnosing or providing psychotherapy. Attendees will learn how to incorporate simple screening touchpoints, patient-centered communication strategies, and structured referral or collaboration workflows that improve continuity of care. The session emphasizes real-world implementation, including documentation considerations, referral follow-up, and care coordination supported by practice systems. Participants will leave with a practical, clinic-ready plan that improves patient outcomes while strengthening retention and supporting sustainable practice growth.
